The announcement that the superstar and rapper Snoop Dogg and Kavanaugh would team up to form a new professional league in boxing known as The Fight Club was announced by the co-owner of Triller, Ryan Kavanaugh, on Tuesday.
As per TMZ sports, it was explained by Ryan Kavanaugh that Saturday’s card was headlined by Mike Tyson as well as Roy Jones Jr, which was the first event that took place under the Fight Club umbrella. He regarded the shows of Saturday as a huge event and said this is going to be a big event. It would be taken further with the aim of the way boxing is done.
What was the idea behind the event?
According to Kavanaugh, the idea would be taken forward with the vision to hold cards with sanctioned fights and non-sanctioned fights. The same was the case with the shows conducted on Saturday’s. The exhibition was between Tyson and Jones, while all the other fights were against the boxers’ records.
Because of the entertaining commentary by Snoop Dogg, the event was highly praised. His commentary during the knockout of Jake Paul, which won over the former star of the NBA, Nate Robinson, and the main event took place between Jones and Tyson.
